Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – Sept 17

Happy Hatter
Awesome small bakery on Crescent Heights, delicious products.

Mad Hatter
Sick of people not controlling their kids. The Sunridge observatory hosted a lovely evening, too bad it was ruined by screaming & running kids whose parents instead of taking them to a park to play outside brought them to wreak havoc on our evening. They were knocking over telescopes and standing in front of all the lenses, so you couldn’t look through them while “parents” stand around laughing. They won’t be when they have to pay to replace the expensive equipment. Go have a play date elsewhere.

Mad Hatter
Why does every Dodge owner drive with their fog lights on? Do they think it looks cool? All your doing is blinding others and showing that you’re a moron who doesn’t know how to run the light switch.

Mad Hatter
When I listen to the radio in the morning, I want to start my drive to work off right. I want to listen to an ENTIRE song. This week the male half of the morning show has been talking over the last 30 seconds of what feels like every song. Just. Let. The. Song. Finish.

Happy Hatter
Very happy with the city utility team that quickly resolved my water pressure issue. They were very proficient, professional and prompt. Thanks!

Happy Hatter
Love the colour of the leaves this time of year, sad to see summer going though.

Happy Hatter
Glad to see new stores downtown that have many sizes and have potential to fit many.  There were few stores with quality clothing which won’t go out of style next season.

To the person upset that there is an organization against minimum wage being raised – in case you didn’t realize, the only thing raising minimum wage really does is increase taxes and cause more inflation. In the end, it doesn’t benefit burger flippers as much as you like. If you can’t raise a family on minimum wage, get a better job or don’t have children. Don’t make your problem the rest of Canada’s problem. I’m tired of this kumbaya, equal pay no matter what, sensitive, participation trophy crap. And before you have a fit – I work a minimum wage job. Just keep in mind that it’s called “minimum wage.” It’s not called “liveable wage.” You aren’t a doctor… you scan barcodes.

Happy Hatter
Always happy to take FLC land fitness classes and so reasonable priced.

Mad Hatter
Tired of reading about all the political non-sense in this column. Any half-wit knows that ALL the politicians are essentially the same. Nothing more than beggars looking for a free golden pension and just talking to hear their head roar. PFFFTTT

Happy Hatter
I’m happy that Tigers season is here in about a week. Good luck to the Orange and Black. But it would be even better if we could get more people out at the games, show some support for what we do have at the Canalta Centre, and the events we do get. If people won’t spend $25, you can’t really blame the promoters for being hesitant to bring in concerts that cost 2-5 times as much. GO TIGERS GO!!

Mad Hatter
I’m a Mad Hatter because people always act so big and tough on Facebook, or when they’re in their cars, complaining to coworkers or with a big group of friends. But when it comes to actually doing anything at all, these same people are nowhere to be found. Sure, maybe you just need to cool down and you don’t really want to fight the person that cut you off in traffic, but at least man up and say “Dude, I’m mad that you cut me off” or actually tell your boss you want a raise, instead of just complaining about it and saying you’ll quit if you don’t get a raise to your co-workers, but never saying anything to the person who actually could give you a raise.

Mad Hatter
At the woman in a Jeep that thinks people drive too fast. If literally everyone, including the semis are passing you, going up Redcliff hill on the #1, it’s not that everyone else is driving too fast, it’s that you’re driving too slow.
