Sangmoon Bae wins Web.com Tour Finals event in Boise; Canada’s Sloan runner up
BOISE, Idaho — Canadian Roger Sloan has earned himself a PGA Tour card for next season with his runner-up performance on Sunday.
Sangmoon Bae won the Albertsons Boise Open to regain his PGA card, birdieing the final hole for a one-stroke victory in the Web.com Tour Finals event.
Bae finished at 19-under 265, closing with a 5-under 66 at Hillcrest Country Club to edge Calgary’s Sloan (63), Anders Albertson (62) and Adam Schenk (64).
Sloan, Schenk, Roberto Diaz and Dylan Frittelli all earned enough money to get four of the 25 PGA Tour cards available in the four-event series.
