Mad that Canada Post is threatening to strike… I just don’t see what the point of a strike is when you already have a great wage and benefits and there are “Canada Post” employees working at the outlet stores doing the same jobs and getting paid minimum wage.

Besides hockey, how many events is the Canalta Centre offering? I see a grand total of 2 till March next year. What the tax payers need is NO MORE excuses. Don’t come asking for tax payers to subsidize. Lethbridge is booming with events.

Working in IT can be very rewarding. When you’re tasked by the General Manager to invade your co workers privacy, it’s time to watch your back. Be careful. Nothing you communicate is safe.

It’s too bad Leah left. I think she was the best reporter and anchor at CHAT and I think she’s going to be greatly missed and already is.

Do homeowners really think you can get top dollar for a place that needs all new flooring on all levels, new paint, fix the doors, add baseboards, door trim, fix the kitchen cabinets, countertops, make a real backsplash, and identify the musty smell in bathroom.  And replace the gravel in backyard with grass, plus no garage.  Aren’t realtors supposed to recommend a price to list?  Pictures definitely don’t tell the real story.

To any Albertan that thinks PC had no debt in their 42 years of ruling us should get out of there glass bubble or stop believing everything you read on FB or listening to the opposition. If you think a leader that spends 1.5 million on getting voted in AB in 14 months is “fiscally responsible”. His team said nothing about the equalization payments while he was in Ottawa. His team had 3 years to get TMP to tidewater. UCP/PC ideology is more left than BC NDP or ONT. PC party.

Absolutely sick and tired of reading about people having trouble finding a specific size of clothing and discriminating against others. A size of a person does not qualify them as suddenly becoming insubstantial or non-existent, and the remarks about these people not being ‘real’ are hurtful. No matter if you are just using this term as an offhand comment regarding clothing size. I am very sorry if you cannot find a clothing store that fits your body but please be mindful of everyone. Discriminating against people of a different size is not a healthy behavior. Body shaming is not right, and it needs to end!

Mad to hear that yet another organization was created in Medicine Hat to reduce poverty, yet they are advocating against raising the minimum wage in collaboration with the Chamber! I am sure none of these people on Thrive are raising a family on minimum wage.
