13th Avenue underpass to close for roadwork Sunday and Monday

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Motorists looking to cross the Trans-Canada Highway over the weekend are advised to find an alternate route.

The 13th Avenue Southeast underpass will be closed at Highway 1 on Sunday and Monday. The closure will take place from 6 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day.

The closure is due to roadwork on the highway section Alberta Transportation has scheduled to be completed. A map of the construction area can be found here. https://www.medicinehat.ca/home/showdocument?id=15178

Drivers are encouraged to use the Dunmore Road Southeast interchanges or the Southridge Drive/College Avenue Southeast interchanges to cross the highway.
