ALERT arrest 10 in alleged drug trafficking operation involving Hells Angels in Alberta

ALERT has confirmed that one of the people charged, Nicholas Delibasic was not part of the cocaine distribution network.

EDMONTON, AB —The Alberta Law Enforcement Response Team has arrested 10 people and stopped a cocaine distribution network alleged to be linked to a member of the Hells Angels and support club members.

ALERT announced the results of Project Entry, a year-long investigation completed with the RCMP’s Federal Serious and Organized Crime division, during a news conference Thursday morning.

The investigation resulted in 10 people being arrested and facing 45 charges.

The investigating resulted in the seizure of five kilograms of cocaine, half a kilogram of a buffing agent, cannabis resin and a handgun. Police also seized multiple vehicles and motorcycles, and $13,000 in cash proceeds of crime. Arrested were made between July 25-30.

ALERT alleges the accused were operating a cocaine distribution network that was present in Edmonton, Spruce Grove, Cold Lake, Whitecourt and Grade Prairie. Authorities say William McCabe, a member of Hells Angels Westridge in Edmonton allegedly oversaw the trafficking operations and facilitated distribution in various communities.

The investigation also implicated Shane Daly and Pascal Jacques, who are allegedly members of the Dirty Few Lakeland chapter, a support club for the Hells Angels.

The full list of people arrested includes:

-William McCabe, a 47-year-old man from Spruce Grove;

-Shane Daly, a 39-year-old man from Spruce Grove;

-Joseph Collicutt, a 32-year-old man from Grande Prairie;

-Pascal Jaques, a 40-year-old man from Cold Lake;

-Theresa Acker, a 42-year-old woman from Spruce Grove;

-Anton Petrowitz, a 36-year-old man from Calgary;

-Clinton Thomas, a 33-year-old man from Parkland County;

-Nicholas Stovell, a 38-year-old man from Cold Lake;

-Nicholas Delibasic, a 46-year-old man from Cold Lake; and

-Larissa Ausmus, a 31-year-old woman from Spruce Grove.
