Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – August 30

Aug 30, 2018 | 8:10 AM

Happy Hatter
For the rain, we really needed it.

At people who let their cats out then say they are heartbroken when the cat doesn’t return home. My neighbour puts a harness and leash on her cat, so it stays in the yard and is safe. The bylaw states dogs AND cats cannot roam freely.

Happy Hatter
Happy to see Waterton is no longer under the evacuation notice! Let’s hope the rest of these fires start to slow down now too!

Mad Hatter
Can someone tell Mother Nature that it is AUGUST and that 2 degrees is not an appropriate temperature. I heard it snowed in Canmore and Banff… again, it is AUGUST, and this hurts my heart. I am not ready for the snow-pocalypse to begin again.

Hoping that the City will show some love for 16th Street SW and get it in the works to be re-paved. It is one of the busiest streets in the city and could really use some attention.

Mad Hatter
Today, Wednesday, a man driving a blue minivan came up out of Parkview, turned onto Parkview Drive and proceeded to head toward going down the hill. There is an intersection at Parkview and 12th Street. A dump truck was coming up Parkview and was turning left onto 12th Street and was waiting to turn safely. The man driving the blue mini van, in his infinite wisdom, decides to stop in the middle of the road and let the truck turn. However nice he thought he was being, stopping in the middle of the road with traffic coming up behind you expecting to proceed normally is a stupid thing to do.

Mr. Blue Minivan, you are a traffic hazard doing something stupid like that.

Don’t stop in the middle of the road to be “nice”. You were in the wrong!!!!!!!!!

Mad Hatter
Shopping for clothes in Medicine Hat is extremely frustrating. Where are the quality clothes for real women?  So much of it is fast fashion. Do we need to go out of town to get them?

Mad Hatter
To the Redcliff residents in the southeast…How can you not hear your dog incessantly barking?

Mad Hatter
A safe site may also become a place to go for a deal. While we need to help addicts, who  is keeping an eye on the safety of the people around these places?

Mad Hatter
Bi weekly garbage pickup, NO thank you. That’s a whole load of stink.
