Eden Murray drafted by Calgary Inferno

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A Medicine Hat hockey player will be joining her sister in the Canadian Women’s Hockey League.

Eden Murray was drafted in the eighth round by the Calgary Inferno during the league’s entry draft on Sunday. Eden’s sister Kelly was drafted by the Inferno in the second round one year ago.

Eden has spent the past four seasons with the Yale University Bulldogs. In 97 games, she scored 25 goals and 44 assists for 69 points.

Eden will be battling for a roster spot during the Inferno’s training camp and tryouts, which take place from Sept. 19-23.
