MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers have reportedly named their team captain for the 2018-19 season.

James Hamblin will reportedly wear the “C” on his jersey when the Tigers begin the season in September, according to a Tweet from Link Management, the agency that represents Hamblin.

Hamblin, 19, finished with a career-high 64 points (21 goals, 43 assists) in 70 games last season. He missed the playoffs after breaking a bone near his wrist in the team’s final home game.

The Tigers’ regular season begins Sept. 21 in Lethbridge.
