MEDICINE HAT, AB. —  Medicine Hat City Police were called after a one ton truck went out of control on the Trans Canada highway near the Box Springs Business Park early Sunday morning.

It hit a ramp and became air-borne.

That's when it sheared off a light standard before coming back to the ground.

The male driver was alone in the vehicle and was sent to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police don't think drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, which was around 6:15 yesterday morning.
