EDMONTON, AB — We’re heading to a Game 5.

Anthony Cusati took advantage of a wild-pitch by Barry Caine in the 10th inning, scoring a critical game-winning run in a 3-2 victory for the Edmonton Prospects over the Medicine Hat Mavericks.

The series-deciding Game 5 goes Friday night from Athletic Park at 7:05 p.m.

Cusati went 2/4 at the dish, collecting one RBI along with his winning run to keep the Prospects season alive.

Jared Libke, making his second start of the playoffs for the Mavs, allowed just two runs through 7.2 innings pitched before Caine took the ball.

Caine, who finished tied for the most wins of any pitcher in the league during the regular season, allowed just a single hit over 2.0 innings.

Carson Johnson and Reed Odland scored Medicine Hat’s two runs.

The Eastern Division Championship Series between the Regina Red Sox and Weyburn Beavers is also going the distance. Regina topped the Beavers 10-4 to force Game 5 tomorrow night in Weyburn.
