RCMP investigating toddler’s death in southern Alberta

CARDSTON, AB — RCMP Major Crimes are investigating the death of a toddler in southern Alberta.

According to a news release, a two-year-old girl was taken to hospital on August 2 with serious injuries.

Cardston RCMP were notified on August 3, and began an investigation. The girl died in hospital on Monday from her injuries.

An autopsy was completed at the Calgary Medical Examiner’s office on Tuesday. RCMP are working with several agencies as they continue to investigate.
