Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – July 26

Mad Hatter
Mad at what was already the most expensive daycare in town raising its fees by $145 a month. All other daycares in town raised theirs $20-$60. Minimum wage went up the same amount for all daycares so how does one go up more than twice the amount as their closest competitor? I will now expect the care we receive to be more than twice the quality.

Happy Hatter
I think the check-stop campaign is a great initiative taken by MADD and the MH Police. It is important to shine a light on the dangers of drinking and driving and work to put an end to it.

Mad Hatter
Love going to Echo Dale…but hate the green algae in the water! Is there something that can be done about it? Otherwise, I won’t be going in the water!

Happy Hatter
I’d be a happy hatter if the Albert government would use some of the carbon tax to remove the lights on the Trans Canada going through Medicine Hat and install proper entrance and exit ramps.  Removing the lights would reduce the amount of carbon and pollution spewed into the air everyday from all of the vehicles that have to stop at red lights, idle and then accelerate, and would make getting around town so much better.

Mad Hatter
There’s a few nurses at the hospital that need a real attitude adjustment. They’re rude, condescending and treat patients and families like inconveniences. Patients are sick, scared and the last thing they need is to be bullied. I do not care if you’re over-worked. You chose your job as a caregiver. Have some compassion or get out.

Happy Hatter
Happy at how great Medicine Hat is during the summer.  Don’t know of many other places where you have a free beach 5 minutes out, free swimming, water parks that are fairly well maintained, and good bike paths.  With all there is to do, I don’t know how people have time to complain about weeds and noise.

Mad Hatter
At shootings happening in Canada. Instead of innocent civilians paying the price these cowards should head to parliament.

Mad Hatter
If you can’t take care of your yard and keep the grass green and cut, then you don’t deserve to be a homeowner! There is enough of your type in the city.

Mad Hatter
Why are people so obsessed with everyone having green grass when we live in a desert?

Mad Hatter
Why is the city letting the medians on 15ave and 13ave se dry up?

Mad Hatter
If the City is reducing the off-leash area of Kin Coulee, they NEED to offer more space for off-leash dogs. We go there daily and spend hours down there socializing our dog and socializing with other dog owners. It is an amazing space and we are very grateful it has been there for years for us to use. Taking it away/reducing it is devastating for all dog owners in this City. Please offer another solution or another place we can take our dogs!! Preferably with a creek because on a hot day, there is nothing dogs enjoy more than playing together in the water.

Mad Hatter
Which one of our City Councillors hates dogs? There is always a personal agenda behind everything the City does and this outrageous move to fence in and limit the City’s most well-used dog park is another example of someone’s personal agenda.

Happy Hatter
To the person who said that the right lane at the bottom of the little hill by McDonalds on Dunmore is only for turning into the Lodge. If you look at the sign above the lights, it is a straight through or turning lane.  Just saying.
