It would be so wonderful if solving the problems loud obnoxious driver problem was as easy as calling the police. Unfortunately, I’ve tried that, and unless they are going to be conveniently at your front door already when you call, there is almost nothing they can do. I have a neighbour with the world’s most obnoxious bike but by the time I called the police, he was long gone. And they said there was nothing they could do if he was already gone.

The Canada Day activities were disappointing for the kids this year! Unless you had a child under 5 there was nothing for kids. What happened to all the big bouncy sides and such this year? We had planned on spending the entire day down there, but walked around for about an hour before my 6.5 and 11.5 yo were extremely bored!

Why are we wasting money and time emptying all the empty containers in the alley? Bylaw, please make the residents put the cans in their yards until collection day!

Keep building new parks and green areas, but then just neglect them and let the weeds take over. Ya, way to go, City of Medicine Hat.

Really sad to see Greyhound shutting down Oct 31st. What will people in small towns or people who have no car and cannot afford a plane ticket do?

(Names omitted) why are u allowed to waste taxpayers/judge time? You got off easy. Hopefully you get more jail time the 2nd time around. Shame on you both.

I am so tired of the lies, dog whistles, and fear mongering of the UCP, especially from our local MLA (it is embarrassing to see how ridiculed he is for his lies on Twitter). The UCP are so desperate to win, they will lie, mislead, and incite fear; anything but listen to the needs of everyday Albertans and propose solutions (e.g what will the UCP do to decrease class sizes or improve access to medical procedures; will they promise not to impose a sales tax? Where is their shadow budget and how do they propose to address increased rural crime? We need to elect politicians who are focused on representing our best interests as southern Albertans, not ones who embarrass us on social media and do whatever their leader tells them (like walking out on votes in legislature).

If you are from Sask. and are living here, then you should switch your insurance over to Alberta & get Alberta Plates!  Did you know it’s illegal to live in Alberta with insurance in Sask.?   Besides, how the heck are you supposed to know if a Sask. driver is even registered?  Alberta shows yearly & Monthly stickers.  Sask.  Doesn’t.  Ontario Doesn’t. Does BC?  If you live in Alberta, then get Alberta Licence Plates or go back to Sask.

So many people need their licenses revoked! I saw someone fly by and feel the impatient need to pass a car on the shoulder of the highway at highway speeds, I almost got smoked by a cabbie who completely blew through a 4-way stop, and the amount of people who don’t know how to use a yield boggles my mind. If someone is waiting at a yield sign – let them wait and stop letting them in when our lights are green! You may think you’re being nice but you’re not following laws; you’re holding everyone up who actually has the right of way! Learn how to drive or stay home… so sick of dealing with ignorant drivers on easy roads. It’s not hard!!

WestJet has been here for almost 3 weeks now, and yet the City’s Airport website still only shows Air Canada. Way to make a new company feel welcome….

Those seniors who complain about the increase at Veiner Centre – where can you go for less than $10.00 per month?  Plus those that can’t afford it get assistance.
