Nature Centre reducing hours due to renovations

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Nature Centre will be reducing its hours as a result of the ongoing renovations.

The Centre, located in Police Point Park, will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, but will be closed to walk-in public Monday to Friday.

Staff at the centre will be available Tuesdays through Fridays to answer questions by phone and respond to messages.

The Interpretive Program at the centre will continue to host various public events throughout the summer, and will also continue offering special bookings for patients.

Since April, crews have been working on a major renovation at the Nature Centre, including making the building more accessible.
