Redcliff RCMP investigating theft at farm

REDCLIFF, AB — A farmer in Cypress County was nearly run over after confronting two men who were allegedly stealing from his property.

According to a news release from Redcliff RCMP, officers responded to a farm in Cypress County, where a property owner spotted the suspects attempting to steal diesel fuel. They fled the area in a truck, nearly hitting the farmer.

The truck was later spotted in Redcliff, reportedly trying to cash a fraudulent check at the Servis Credit Union.

The truck is a red 2008 Ford F-350 with a slip tank in the back. The truck has an Alberta license plate “EFZ 473.”

The driver of the truck was wearing a ski mask with glasses and likely has blonde hair.

Anyone who spots the truck is asked not to confront the driver, but instead call Redcliff RCMP at 403-548-2222, 911 or your local police detachment.
