Sage Watson to miss National Track and Field Championship with injury
OTTAWA — Sage Watson won’t be competing at the Canadian National Track and Field Championship in Ottawa this week.
The Seven Persons hurdler announced Tuesday on Twitter that she had pulled out of the event after suffering an injury a week ago.
Sadly I’m announcing I won’t be competing at Canadian Nationals this week. Last week I suffered a stress injury in my foot and it is in my best health that I forgo racing this weekend. I am now focusing on recovery and training so I can make a strong comeback.
