Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – July 3

Mad Hatter
Mad that some losers think that the lights at the Veteran’s memorial off the highway are there to be stolen. Jerks. Get a life and a conscience and return them to the hard-working people who made the memorial.

Mad Hatter
Upset about the latest news story citing a ‘few’ dirt bike riders sharing an off-road trial.  Where’s the news article about the thousands of bicyclists that share our roads and the ‘few’ whom use it improperly?  Almost every day I see cyclists blowing past stop signs and red lights, ripping through multiple lanes of oncoming traffic, rarely using designated cross walks and acting like they are a pedestrian on a sidewalk and then want to be treated as a vehicle as they hop their bicycle into the road.  We also have bylaws that makes these actions against the law and can result in a fine but where is the debate on this topic?  These cyclists are much more likely to be injured in city traffic than the few people using an off-road dirt trail.

Mad Hatter
At those complaining about the lack of kids’ activities at Canada Day. Maybe you should volunteer to be on the committee or make a donation. The activities are free to you but it’s not free to get them here.

Happy Hatter
Great fireworks this year!!

Mad Hatter
To the person who thinks they were the last to get power lines buried; just look around Crestwood and Norwood.

Mad Hatter
Bikes and vehicles that just purr along sound rich. Those that roar along sound like a little kid showing off. Girls like rich, not juvenile.

Mad Hatter
Illegal suites – landlords, they don’t care about people’s safety, only care about money.

Mad Hatter
I wish people would remember that pedestrians who are crossing have the right of way. And the law says you have to wait until they’re across the street. That doesn’t mean you should start driving before the pedestrian is past your vehicle.
