Tigers announce date for home opener

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers have announced the date for their 2018-19 home opener.

The Tigers will open the season with a home-and-home series against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, the team announced on Monday. It’s the seventh straight season the two clubs have opened the season against each other.

The Tigers will play against the Hurricanes at the Enmax Centre on Friday, September 21. The team returns home to the Canalta Centre on Saturday, September 22.

The home opener is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m., but fans are reminded to arrive early, as the player and team introductions will take place before puck drop.

The full schedule will be released on Tuesday.
