Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – June 14

Jun 14, 2018 | 8:07 AM

Mad Hatter
Does the city managers or council drive around this city and not see all the potholes? Come on, start paving roads or fill in the pot holes, this is ridiculous!!

Happy Hatter
You know…if we built a big dome over the city, we wouldn’t have all these problems with windstorms and snow clearing…think of the money we’d save…

Mad Hatter
For the person complaining about the dandelions in city parks: are you not aware that bees are dying by the thousands? Leaving dandelions for bees helps them immensely and helps ensure our survival. We need bees. What we don’t need is ignorant people.

Happy Hatter
On Monday Agricultural Minister Oneil Carlier toured the area near Hilda for the first time. Good time to come cause now they can see the damage they face at their time of need. Coming earlier would have been a waste of time.

Mad Hatter
That our power was out for 24 hours after the storm. We know there was a lot of damage but that’s ridiculous. We had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food.

Mad Hatter
The downtown outside concert this past weekend was way too loud! It woke me up in the middle of the night/early morning and I live in the Taylor area and I wasn’t the only one who called the cops and complained.

Mad Hatter
A pancake restaurant is now specializing in burgers. Maybe they should try specializing in hiring staff who can get the food I ordered to me and cooked properly the first time.

Mad Hatter
That too many dangerous repeat offenders are walking the streets and being allowed to commit more crime. Bail is a joke but so is our “justice” system. Bad news waiting to happen.

Happy Hatter
Happy to see the agriculture minister visit the areas hit by the wildfires this week.

Mad Hatter
Why can’t people understand the change that was made to the school/playground zone times?? Today, through the Crescent Heights High School zone, I followed a white Nissan Rogue. I apologize to the lady driving it, but frustration set in when she would only drive 32kph. These zones don’t start until 7:30 a.m and this morning driving through at 7:05 she was driving too slow. People need to read the signs!!!! DO THE CORRECT SPEED LIMIT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Hatter
My vacation and money will be spent in Canada to support Canadian business.  US may have lots of attractive family orientated parks but we are spending it on this side of the border
