Medicine Hat, AB. -  Drew Barnes will be the candidate for the United Conservative party for Cypress-Medicine Hat in the 2019 Alberta General Election.
Barnes, who has served as an M.L.A. since 2012, was unopposed for his party's nomination.
United Conservative Leader Jason Kenney said in a release " Drew has been a strong voice on behalf of his constituents. As a former small business owner, he brings valuable experience and insight to his role as our finance critic. Both inside and outside of the Legislature, Drew is a principled voice in holding the NDP government to account.”
Barnes says “For over six years now, it has been an honour to represent the people of Cypress-Medicine Hat and I am grateful to have been given an opportunity to continue to represent them in the Alberta Legislature,”
