STETTLER, AB — A Medicine Hat woman was arrested by RCMP last week and is facing multiple charges in connection with a break and enter in Stettler a month ago.

Danielle Elander, 26, was arrested on May 25 by Leduc RCMP. She has been charged with break and enter and possession of stolen property.

The investigation began in April, after Stettler RCMP responded to a residential break and enter at Rochon Sands, where a number of items were stolen.

The Red Deer RCMP’s  Forensic Identification Section collected physical evidence from the scene to help with the investigation.

Both Stettler RCMP and the Medicine Hat Police Service worked together to recover a large quantity of the stolen property.

Elander appears in Stettler provincial court on June 14 to speak to the charges.
