Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – May 28

May 28, 2018 | 8:08 AM

Happy Hatter
Happy to see Spectrum back in Kin Coulee.  One awesome location with plenty of possible parking areas, and plenty of save space for kids.

Mad Hatter
A reporter is supposed to be impartial and unbiased, but when they declare, in an Op/Ed piece, their personal views on something (the opinion part of OP/ED), their bias is on display.  Can they then be trusted to report fairly on topics which related to their areas of assignment?  They can’t, because they are then reporting from their own journalistic slant, their bias, and this precludes fair and honest reporting.

Mad Hatter
Went to Art Walk downtown, such a shame that so few stores stayed open for the event.  There was some amazing art.  If downtown businesses want people to come downtown, maybe they need to stay open when events are downtown.

Happy Hatter
Tried a few new flavours at the balsamic and olive oil store on the Art Walk, they were one of the few places open.

Mad Hatter
People who throw cigarettes out windows of moving vehicles should be charged.  With the dry weather they are predicting the potential of fire is high, so everyone needs to be careful.

Mad Hatter
So many dogs NOT on leashes this weekend at Echo Dale. I don’t care how well behaved your dog is, the bylaw REQUIRES your dog to be on a leash.
