Trump cancels summit with North Korea

Washington, DC. – U-S President Donald Trump has cancelled next months planned summit with the leader of North Korea.

Trump has written Kim Jong Un telling him that he’s cancelling their meeting based on anger and open hostility from the North Korean leader in recent statements.

The summit was supposed to happen June 12th.

Word of the cancellation comes as the North made a show of demolishing a nuclear test site in the presence of foreign journalists.  However, international nuclear weapons inspectors were not invited to confirm the event.

But the explosions in three tunnels are not an irreversible move and would need to be followed by many more significant measures to meet Trump’s demands for real denuclearization.
