Pilot accused of impaired flying after crashing light plane near Swift Current

Swift Current, SK. – The pilot of a small plane that crashed west of Swift Current on Tuesday night, has been charged with impaired operation of a plane.
 
The plane clipped some trees and crashed in a field north of the Trans Canada highway around 7:30 Tuesday night.

RCMP say the crash was about one and a half kilometers from where the plane had taken off from a grid road.
 
The pilot and his passenger received minor injuries.
 
42 year old Calvin Pahl will be in court in Swift Current on June 27th.
