OSAKA, JAPAN – Sage Watson continued to put her stamp on the track and field landscape on Sunday, adding to her medal collection at the 2018 Seiko Golden Grand Prix in Japan.

Watson won the gold medal in the women’s 400 metre hurdles final, crossing the finish line with a time of 55.58 seconds.

It was a close finish, but the Seven Persons hurdler beat out Ukraine’s Viktoriya Tkachuk by less than half a second to win the gold.

The gold adds to a bronze that Watson won the previous weekend, taking home third place at a IAAF Diamond League event in Shanghai, China.
