Tigers ink Chabot to WHL Standard Player Agreement

Medicine Hat, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers are excited to announce that they have signed forward Kadyn Chabot (’02) to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.

Chabot, a native of Lethbridge, AB spent the 2017/18 season as a member of the Lethbridge Midget ‘AAA’ Hurricanes of the AMHL where he recorded 35 points in 32 games collecting 13 goals and 22 assists.

Chabot would also average more than a point per game in the playoffs notching 7 goals and 8 assists in 15 games to help lead the Midget Hurricanes to the AMHL Championship. The 16 year old 5’8″ 170lb forward would then go on to add another 6 goals and 2 assists in 7 games at the Telus Cup in Sudbury, Ont.

“We are excited about his future and we look forward to working with Kadyn as he pursues his hockey dreams,” said Tigers GM and head coach Shaun Clouston. “We’d like to welcome Kadyn and his family to the Tigers organization.”

The next event for the Tigers is the team’s annual orientation camp which kicks off Friday, June 1st at the Family Leisure Centre where our ’03 and ’02 born drafted and listed players will have the opportunity to showcase their talent. All ice sessions will be open to the general public and free to attend. The schedule will be made available to the public at a later date.
