Medicine Hat, AB. – There’s been a one day delay in the trial of a man charged in the death of his girlfriend in Brooks in 2016.
Jessie Dyck’s manslaughter trial was scheduled to begin this morning, but was adjourned for a day because a resolution is now anticipated.
He was first charged with aggravated assault, after 19 year old Tanya Campbell Losier was found suffering from significant injuries in her Brooks home in February of 2016.
But the charge was upgraded to manslaughter after she died in a Calgary hospital.
Dyck is expected to be in court when the case resumes tomorrow.
