What a wonderful weekend! Amazing weather to work outside, do my garden and then relax on the hammock!

Last week’s hatter suggesting people who complain about the lack of big and exciting things in Medicine Hat should pay their own way – are you serious? People are allowed to voice their opinions on what they believe would make their city a better place without having to throw hundreds of thousands of dollars towards it. I personally would love to see a real Mexican restaurant open in the city. However, I am not a Mexican Chef, nor do I have the funds or interest in opening a restaurant. But that doesn’t mean I’m not allowed to suggest it would be a good idea. Enough of this “money where your mouth is” business. Just let people speak.

When your family who lives 2 hours out of town comes to shop and spend the day here, but don’t tell you they are here. I’ve never done that to you. That really hurts.

With the “father” who helped bring a baby into the world but refuses to take care of her. Refuses to work, gets fired from every job, spends no time with her. Too busy riding his bike around town. Grow up, and if you can’t be a parent, don’t have anymore kids.

Happy to have my motorcycle out again. Just wish the street sweeping would be faster.

Impressed with all the people living on our street who all moved their vehicles so the street sweepers could clean our roads properly. Looks much better!

It would be nice if the police ticketed drivers who don’t use their signal lights and even more dangerous, turn left or right into the right lane instead of taking the wide turn, nearly hitting someone. Did they not learn this when taking the exam? This is young and old drivers.

Isn’t it about time for the fast food industry to replace waxed paper with something that recycles? Same thing with plastic straws. Are they really needed at a cost to the environment?

It’s construction season again. I hate this time of year as all my routes to work seem to be cut off. On the positive side, it is a sign of summer.

The Airport is closed for most of May…that’s crazy!

Mad at the UCP leader and our local UCP MLA for stoking fear (disguised as concern for debt) to push their own socially regressive ideals, especially towards women and education. To grow as a province, we need leaders who look forward, not ones who want to take us back to the 1800s.
