VIDEO: City crews install and test flood mitigation barriers

MEDICINE HAT, AB — City crews were kept busy on Monday, installing demountable flood barriers in Strathcona Island Park.
The work is part of yearly training by the city, and is part of ongoing flood mitigation. Crews could also be seen building the Industrial Avenue berm.
Once completed, it will connect to the Strathcona Island Park berm and wrap around Medalta.
