Local company creating Humboldt Strong t-shirts, proceeds for families

REDCLIFF, AB — The owner and operator of Mac Design Screen Works said she wanted to help the families of the Humboldt tragedy the only way she knew how.

Krista Pettyjohn and her staff have been working hard on Humboldt Strong t-shirts, hoodies and ball caps.

Pettyjohn said already orders are pouring in.

She said her family grew up playing hockey and said this is her way of giving back.

“People have been actually wanting jerseys now and stuff,” she said. “So we’re just trying to find, we can’t order jerseys overnight so we have some in stock. We’re just pulling things from everywhere.”

Proceeds from sales will go towards helping the families.
