I have a feeling the current government of Alberta will be getting the boot next election and we will have the New Combined Conservative party! This will be scary, especially with the new finance minister they will have and leader! I guarantee Alberta will be paying health premiums and have a sales tax! Not good with so many people out of work!

The BC premier wants the federal government to control BC gas prices, but he also doesn’t want the pipeline to go through.  If the demands weren’t there in BC already, the gas prices wouldn’t be so high.  Just doesn’t seem logically thought through.

The Medicine Hat recycling program, unless we know where all these recycling products are going, what point is there?  Recycling is important, but unless Medicine Hat has a bigger plan we could be just moving to another landfill type location. Green bins are used for yard waste.  Can these be moved to one step further for compostable kitchen waste as well?

Good for city council approving public art for the Veiner Centre. This shouldn’t be the first thing to get cut when council gets stingy. Making our city a pleasant and beautiful place to live is important too.

Waking up in the morning to a house that is 9C because your thermostat died last night because even it has had enough of this weather.

So happy with my wedding dress purchased here in Redcliff! Glad to have some beautiful options in this city!

Hate how much of a “man’s” city Medicine Hat is. Not all, but too many of the men I know in this city love to put women down or talk down to them. That is not okay – especially in the workplace.

Why are there so many Mad Hatters on here? We live in the best province, in the best country in the entire world. How bad can it be? If you are bored and just need to vent, why don’t you put that energy into volunteering? They would love the help! Just saying……

Happy that the MH Police department cleared up a question that has been following me for some time – had no idea that vehicles aren’t meant to stop for school buses or transit buses within city limits. Instead, pedestrians must find a crosswalk. Good to know this!

I have had ENOUGH of the snow. When on earth is it going to end?! This is absolute insanity and I am so far over it I’m ready to pack up and head south. Live in Canada, they said. It’ll be great, they said. No. Snow in April is not great.
