Tigers aim to extend series lead against Wheat Kings in Dauphin

DAUPHIN, MB — The Medicine Hat Tigers are hoping to put the Brandon Wheat Kings in a deeper hole tonight.

The Tigers are in Dauphin for Game 3 of the Western Hockey League Playoffs tonight. The Tigers lead the series 2-0.

The Tigers have dominated the first two games of the series, outscoring the Wheat Kings 14-5.

It was announced today that Dylan Myskiw will be starting in goal for Brandon, replacing Logan Thompson, who started in the first two games. Myskiw has seen 33 minutes of playing time in the series, allowing two goals and posting a save percentage of .800.

Jordan Hollett is once again scheduled to get the start in goal for the Tigers. In two games, Hollett has recorded a save percentage of .917 and a goals against average of 2.50.

The game is being held in Dauphin due to the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair currently underway in Brandon at the Keystone Centre.

The game gets underway at 6:30 p.m. and Bob Ridley will have the call tonight on CHAT 94.5 F.M.
