STRATFORD, ON – A much needed victory for Medicine Hat’s Sandy Bell and Team Alberta at the 2018 Canadian Senior Curling Championships on Sunday.

Alberta stole points in third, sixth, and eighth ends to earn a 5-3 victory over Team Yukon in the fourth game of the round-robin.

After losing back-to-back games to the Northwest Territories and New Brunswick, the win evens up Alberta’s record at 2-2.

That win puts Alberta into fourth place in Pool A with three draws to go before the playoff stage.

Despite the rest of her team hailing from the North Hill Curling Club in Calgary, Bell curls second for Alberta out of the Medicine Hat Curling Club.

Two matches left in the round-robin for Bell and Team Alberta, as they battle Team Nova Scotia (3-0) and Team Saskatchewan (2-1) on Monday.
