Fog advisory once again in effect for Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat and the surrounding area are once again under a fog advisory.

The advisory, issued at 8:40 a.m. Monday morning, is in effect for the City of Medicine Hat, the County of 40 Mile, the County of Newell, Cypress County and Special Area no. 2.

Dense fog has fallen over the region, with near-zero visibility in some areas.

The fog is expected to persist until later in the morning.

Environment Canada warns travel is expected to be hazardous due to the reduced visibility. Drivers are reminded to maintain a safe following distance and drive with their lights on for safety.
