“He dances, he laughs, he makes people laugh. He makes everyone happy. He’s a wonderful joy and just a fun young man,” she said of her son, 29-year-old Jordie Tallas, who has a deeply ingrained passion for the Medicine Hat Tigers.

Widely agreed to be the Tigers number one fan, Jordie has the ability to light up the entire arena with a smile.

Many know him for his trademark celebration, which helped create his unique nickname.

It’s a passion, turned into a way of life — complete with the remarkable ability to touch the hearts of those who know him.
