Semi rolls near Oyen spilling cargo on Highway 9

Oyen, AB – A semi hauling liquid tanks rolled over near Oyen late yesterday afternoon.
 
It happened just west of the intersection of Highways 9 and 41 at about 4 pm.
 
Some of the tanks on the truck were empty. Others, carrying non specified liquids were also scattered across the highway.
 
The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt, but traffic had to be detoured  while the wreck was cleaned up.

Highway 9 was reopened to traffic this morning.
