MLA Barnes to make announcement on candidacy

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Cypress-Medicine Hat MLA Drew Barnes is making an announcement this morning.
Barnes will be making the announcement at Paradise Valley Golf Course at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. A news release from his constituency office says the announcement will be in regards to nomination candidacy for the riding of Cypress-Medicine Hat.
Barnes was first elected to the legislature in 2012 under the Wildrose banner, and was re-elected in 2015.
He is currently the Shadow Finance Minister for the United Conservative Party.
