EDMONTON, AB — The provincial government has started the consultation process for Budget 2018.

The government is now accepting written submissions from residents about what they’re hoping to see in the budget, scheduled to be tabled in the spring, and have also launched an online survey to collect feedback.

The province will also be holding telephone town halls in January, with the date and times to be announced at a later date.

The link to the survey and consultation email can be found here.

The deadline for Albertans to submit their recommendations and suggestions is February 2. The provinces says the feedback will be considered during the planning of the budget.

Budget 2017 was tabled on March 16, 2017, and forecast a $10.3 billion deficit for the year.
