Defenceman MacPhee released by Tigers

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Tigers have lost a defenceman.

The Tigers announcing on Wednesday that Cameron MacPhee has been released by the team.

Not much is known about the decision, but Shaun Clouston, head coach and general manager, says MacPhee is heading home to deal with personal matters.

The Edmonton-born player has played a total of 36 games over two seasons with the Tigers. He scored his first goal of his career last Friday in Kamloops, and notched one assist last season.
