Seeing kids walking around without jackets on when it is -15. If they knew how many kids didn’t own winter coats and wished their families could afford them, maybe they wouldn’t think being cold was such a fashion statement.

At “New Hatters” who don’t believe in or celebrate Christmas, yet access our local organizations for free toys and food vouchers, for their ever-growing families, at Christmas time.

MAD that the Cypress MLA – and finance opposition critic – is spreading false information on social media about the carbon tax increase coming in January – if you actually do the math it is NOT a 75% increase like he and the UCP state, it is more like 30% and that is BEFORE the rebates are factored in.

People, put your shopping carts in the cart corrals! The stores have them especially for people who are disabled! I am disabled, and I park in the disability parking spot and if I can push a cart around in a store I can put it in a corral! As you should be able to also.

Happy to see all the good charities are doing in our community around the holidays. It is so heartwarming to see the love and good graces in our city.

This week I was lucky enough to get to hang out with my favourite puppy in the entire world. Makes me want to encourage others to go volunteer at the SPCA or APARC over the holidays and year-round. Animals have a way of brightening a day and making you feel at ease!
