Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – Oct 23
Mad Hatter
In the light of all the grass fires happening around our province there are people that are continuing to throw out lit cigarette butts. It is really irritating and disrespectful and they should be charged.
Mad Hatter
The city puts so much into election voting with people working the booths and having pre-election day voting stations set up. However, if we are continuing to have such low voter turn outs, why not make it possible to vote online? Absolutely EVERYTHING else can be done online so why not this? Make people enter their SIN number or driver’s license number to identify themselves. I voted, but know of a lot of people who didn’t because it just wasn’t convenient enough for them to get to their poling stations during the day.
Mad Hatter
I understand that legally workplaces are meant to give three hours to vote, however, people must keep in mind the individual. If you work more than one job or are too busy to make voting a priority, well, of course we are going to have a low turn out. In the 21st century you’d think we’d have figured a way to make voting easier.
Happy Hatter
I can’t tell you how many times I have gone in search of something – let that me shoes, clothes, furniture and so on – and come home empty handed. Happy that I was able to find not one, but two suitable pairs of dressy shoes today (for under 10$) makes me a Happy Hatter!
