Be careful of tree branches due to heavy snowfall: city

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The city is reminding residents to be aware of trees in their neighbourhood following the snowfall.

Due to high winds and heavy snow accumulations, there is an increased risk of falling branches from trees around the city. The parks and recreation department is advising residents to avoiding parking under trees for the time being.

City crews are working clear debris off roadways and parks areas. All issues will be dealt with on a priority basis to complete clean-up efforts in the safest manner possible.
