MEDICINE HAT, AB — Zach Fischer will make his overage season debut for the Medicine Hat Tigers in Saskatoon on Friday.
The 20-year-old enforcer missed the Tabbies first two games after taking a hard hit at Calgary Flames training camp on September 15th.
Fischer experience concussion-like symptoms, including a sore neck, for about two weeks. He began practicing with the team in a non-contact jersey last week, and took on full-contact practices a few days ago.
Medicine Hat is in Saskatchewan for a mini-road trip this weekend, beginning in Saskatoon on Friday (7:05p.m.) before heading north to Prince Albert to battle the Raiders on Saturday (7:00p.m.)
