REGINA, SK. – Farmers in southwest Saskatchewan have made the most progress in harvesting this years crop.

The Ministry of Agriculture says 86 per cent of the crop has been combined in the region.

Durum grades in the region are estimated at 77 per cent 1CWAD.  20 per cent is rated at 2CWAD and 3 per cent 3CWAD.

No rain fell in the past week in the southwest part of Saskatchewan, and that  has some farmers indicating they may not seed winter cereals this fall unless moisture is received soon.
