13 candidates on ballot for Brooks City Council

BROOKS, AB – The city of Brooks will be heading to the polls on October 16, 2017 with nominations for mayor and city council closing at noon today.

Amanda Peterson, Returning Officer said Barry Marishita will hold a second term as mayor by acclamation.

Peterson said there will be thirteen candidates on the ballot for the six city council positions.
