Missing man located and returned home

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A man with dementia who went missing Thursday morning has been located safe, according to the Medicine Hat Police Service.
Police reported shortly before noon on their Facebook and Twitter pages that the man, who was 78 years old, was located and returned home. He went missing after leaving his residence earlier Thursday morning.
Police thanked the public for their assistance to quickly locate the man.
