Canadian Little League Championships moving to semi finals

Medicine Hat, AB –  The playoffs have been set for the 2017 Canadian Little League Championships in Medicine Hat.
 
The first semi final is on Friday at 9 a.m., when Number One B.C. takes on Number Four Lethbridge.    The second semi final will follow at noon when Number Two Ontario plays third place finishers from Quebec.
 
Earlier today, White Rock B.C. wrapped up first place in the round robin with a 6-5 victory over the Quebec champions from the Mirabel Academy.   The B.C. champions have not lost in 6 starts at the competition.
 
Team Alberta, from Lethbridge shut out the Prairie champions from Regina 10-0.  Lethbridge finishes third with a record of 3 wins and 3 losses.  Regina failed to register a victory in 6 tries.
 
The host Medicine Hat All Stars play their final game this afternoon, starting at 3 pm against the Glace Bay Colonels from Nova Scotia.  Both teams have records of 1 win and 4 losses and will miss the playoffs.
 
The games are being played at Lovell McDonnell field.
