MEDICINE HAT, AB — There are many beautiful gardens in Medicine Hat that need to be shown off.

On Sunday the Medicine Hat Horticulutral Society hosted its annual Garden Tour.

Eight homes opened their yards for the public to view.

“It allows people to see what other people are doing, what they might be growing, what they can grow in Medicine Hat,” said Mel Deydey, Communications Director with the Medicine Hat Horticulutral Society.

The homes are spread across the city.  Starting in the South East and South West Hills, to Riverside and Creasant Heights, and ending in Parkview.

Each yard has different landscaping.  Some have Koi ponds and waterfalls, and others have garden beds. With each yard bringing its own unique character to the tour.

The Garden Tour runs from noon to 5 pm on Sunday.
