MEDICINE HAT, AB — It’s an occasion which calls for a celebration, and a thank you.

CHATNewsToday.ca crossed the one million page view mark Wednesday morning, shortly before 10 a.m.

This milestone comes three-and-a-half months following our launch in the community on February 9.

The site, powered by the award-winning CHAT Television Newsroom, receives an average of 10,000 page views a day. Our biggest day of traffic on the site was February 22, when we had 31,380 visitors to learn about two drug arrests, a motor vehicle collision on Highway 3, new stores coming to the Medicine Hat Mall, along with national and international news.

CHAT News Today plans to keep evolving to serve Medicine Hat and southeast Alberta. But, before we do that, we just want to say one thing.

Thank you.

Thanks to everyone who has made us your destination for local news. We’re planning a giveaway next month to celebrate the occasion. More details will be released soon.

Thanks to everyone who posted a classified ad, looked at a car or house listing, submitted a Mad or Happy Hatter or watched the newscast online.

We couldn’t have accomplished this without you.
