MEDICINE HAT, AB – Three suspects are facing charges after a vehicle was stolen in the southeast on Thursday evening.

A member of the public reported the truck was stolen just before 7:00 pm, and was located in the 2200 block of Southview Drive SE.

Four occupants in the vehicle fled the scene, with 46-year-old Christopher Foster of Swift Current and 22-year-old Danial Taylor-Dirk of Calgary being arrested a short time after.

Medicine Hat Police confirm a .22 calibre rifle was among other stolen property located in the truck.

Foster and Taylor-Dirk face numerous charges including possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm, and breaching release conditions.

Taylor-Dirk also faces an additional charge of refusing a breath sample.

Both have made their first court appearances, with Foster being remanded in custody until April 25th, while Taylor-Dirk has been released on a recognizance to appear in court on June 20th.

A 33-year-old woman from Medicine Hat was later arrested, is in custody for a bail hearing, and is charged with possession of stolen property, breach of release conditions, and other firearms related conditions.

Police say they are still looking for the fourth man in the vehicle.
